Tops Day Nurseries opened in Herbert Avenue, Parkstone, Poole in February 1990, expanding onto a second floor and the building next door in the late 1990's.
The nursery is registered for 56 children 0-8 years; 12 under two year olds, 44 two to eight years.
The older children are on the ground floor of the main building in Herbert Avenue and able to access the garden directly from their play rooms. The 3 months to two year old children are upstairs and the 2-3 years olds are situated in the bungalow next door. |
The gardens include an all weather safety surface with wendy houses, sand pit, slides and climbing frame, a grassed area and a vegetable and flower garden. A large trampoline dug into the ground so that it's level with the ground is very popular.
Parking and a drop-off zone is available at the front of the building in Herbert Avenue. This nursery is open from 7.15am until 6.30pm currently to accommodate the working patterns of parents in Poole, and for 52 weeks of the year. It is currently closed on Bank Holidays and weekends.
