Meals
If you wish, we are able to provide your child with a breakfast before 9am, a hot lunch and a light tea at around 4pm. Additional charges for these can be found on the enclosed price list and current menus can be found around the nursery.
If you provide your child with a packed lunch please take note of our ‘No Nuts’ policy.
Activities and Trips
Activities are planned throughout the holidays, to include sports, cooking and craft. Details of these are sent out, either by post or email, before the school holidays. We also ensure that we listen to the children’s immediate interests, and plan in things accordingly.
Various trips run throughout the holidays. Details and costs of these will be provided in advance. Trips are optional, and those children not wishing to attend, will stay on-site. The ratio for trips is a minimum of 1 adult to every 5 children, and thorough risk assessments are done in advance.
Breakfast and After-School Club/ Pick-up and Drop-off Service
This is something that we are keen to get up and running as soon as our Play Club is on-site. At present we are taking in ‘expressions of interests’, and will then look to see which schools we can provide a pick-up and drop-off service to – depending on demand.
Please let Claire Christopher, the Nursery Manager know, if this is something you are keen to use in the near future. The collection service is £3 per child, per day, and the hourly rate starts from the time the staff member leaves nursery to collect, or arrives back at nursery after a drop-off.
We will require you to sign a permission slip, giving us consent to collect or drop-off your child, using car, taxi or mini-bus. We will also ask for a copy of the school’s Collection Policy.
