Tops Day Nurseries began managing the Play Station Nursery on 1 September 2009. The Play station was set for closure when consultation periods between the college and unions and Tops Day Nursery proved a successful solution. Since September the nursery has been gradually growing in stature under Tops management and there have been lots of improvements implemented to the learning facilities and garden. Tops are delighted to have taken on such a beautifully resourced, purpose-built nursery, which is such an asset to the area. There are not many nurseries as spacious and which have such a lovely outside area to enjoy in the good weather. There are also healthy hot meals available. The nursery has a capacity for 61 children aged from 3 months to 7 years. There is a Breakfast club and Play Club for older children around school hours and school holidays. Children of all abilities are welcome and there is access to all areas for wheelchairs. Opening hours are 7.30am - 6.30pm Monday to Friday FREE settling in session for parent/carer and child is highly recommended. Please take advantage of this session so that your child can feel settled with staff and the environment before leaving your child at the nursery.
