Unique flexibility
Every 15 minutes is important because your time is valuable which is why we offer flexible Early Education and Care, so you only pay for the time you need.
With long opening hours, from 6am-8pm including bank holidays, it means we are here when you need us. There’s also free settling-in sessions and we offer you a variety of funding options.
In addition, to assist you in those testing times, Emergency childcare is also available at short notice. For further information, contact us.
15 minute bookings are available at the vast majority of our nurseries but not all. Please refer to your individual nursery page to find out if applicable.
Qualified people
Tops have an outstanding reputation in delivering the best quality Early Education and Care across the South, operating nurseries and play clubs across Dorset, Hampshire, Devon, Somerset and Wiltshire.
Tops are fortunate enough to have a sister company, Aspire Training Team, that provides in house training which is delivered across the Tops family. Aspire offers a variety of courses not only to Tops colleagues but also colleagues in other nurseries and businesses. Some courses that Aspire offer include; L2, L3 and L5 childcare, L2 and L3 business admin as well as team leading and customer service courses.
We also have a small team exclusive to Tops, who deliver training directly to colleagues to support them in their work. Our colleagues have access to a high level of training and support, up to 33 days of paid training per year as well as support for unpaid training and experiences too.
So you can be certain that our Tops staff are provided with world class training to ensure the very best Education and Care is available for your child.

At Tops, all children have a key person responsible for every aspect of their development.
With the eyLog app for web and mobile, you can follow your child’s learning journey. This includes development observations recorded by practitioners during their stay, as well as photos, videos and a daily diary recording eating and toilet habits.

In addition to the flexible childcare provided, Tops nurseries offer a range of extra-curricular activities for you and your children.
From exploring nature in Tops Forest School to sports clubs such as Football Fun and Rugby Rangers, together with core skills including tooth brushing and potty training, there’s so much for your child to learn and enjoy.

As an environmentally-conscious business, Tops Day Nurseries are always looking for ways to care for the planet in everything they do.
All nurseries are rigorously reviewed to ensure the carbon footprint is minimised, as well as having integrated learning sessions for children on the subject of caring for the environment, growing their own food and being waste conscious.
To further assist with the environmental awareness, we are working with a new environmental charity, ‘GECCO’, which has been launched with the aim of preventing waste and the promoting of re-use and recycling.
