Exciting news for children and young people across England! Dame Rachel de Souza, the Children’s Commissioner for England, has launched The Big Ambition. A nationwide survey inviting young minds to share their thoughts, opinions, and ideas. The Big Ambition seeks to make a impact by presenting the aspirations and concerns of young individuals directly to decision-makers.
What is The Big Ambition?
The Big Ambition is an open invitation for children and young people aged 0-18 years old to express their beliefs. Additionally, this survey, open until Friday, December 15th, provides a platform for enhancing children’s lives in England. It’s not just a survey; it’s an opportunity for young voices to resonate with those shaping policies and decisions. For more information, watch a detailed video on The Big Ambition.
For participating schools, lesson slides and plans are available for download. These resources, tailored for primary and secondary schools, guide children on effective voice contribution in a 40-minute or shorter 20-minute lesson.
