We are delighted to announce Vicki Sedgwick, Manager of Tops Day Nurseries Boscombe has been promoted to Senior Nursery Manager as of 1st July 2017.
Vicki started at Tops Day Nurseries in 2012 as a Senior Practitioner. Two months after joining the company, Vicki was promoted to the Mini Beasts Room Manager and Behaviour Management Lead.
On her return from maternity leave, Vicki was welcomed back with being appointed Deputy Manager and also took on the role as Health & Safety representative for the nursery after undertaking all of the necessary training provided by the company.
In May 2015, Vicki was appointed Nursery Manager of the Boscombe Tops Day Nursery and also became the designated Safeguarding Lead.
In her newest role of senior nursery manager, Vicki still be managing Tops Boscombe, but will also be working closely with the operations team; stepping up to support Tops Bournemouth, Tops Charminster, Tops Corfe Mullen, Tops Wimborne and Tops Christchurch.
Vicki has over 14 years’ experience in the childcare sector, 5 of which are with Tops. She also holds a BA (hons) in Learning in families, schools and beyond and also a Foundation Degree in Early Years. Vicki has completed a Level 3 in Management with Aspire Training team as well as various other short courses.
