Steve Cuss has been the head of community at AFC Bournemouth since 2002, and took on the role as manager of the women’s team for the first time ahead of the 2019/20 season.
A UEFA licenced coach, with previous experience at Torquay United, he will step into the role alongside running the Community Sports Trust, which puts on a variety of weekly coaching sessions across the local communities of Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and Brockenhurst.
During his first campaign as manager of the women’s team, he helped the side to top spot of the Southern Region Women’s Premier League before the season was forced to stop due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Steve got involved in the Great Big Read event last year and when asked again he was happy to continue his support and spread the importance of reading in the Early Years.
Steve has kindly provided us with a video of himself, reading ‘The Sleepy Kitten’ and ‘Little Beans Friends’ . We hope you enjoy.
