Tops Day Nurseries Havant, based at Trosnant School have recently welcomed Katie Duke, a local Havantonian, as nursery manager to the setting.
Katie has been with Tops Day Nurseries for 6 years and has played a huge role in the ongoing development of Tops Lakeside in Cosham and hopes to bring a new lease of life to the Havant nursery.
Since joining Tops Havant, Katie has already implemented a number of positive changes; building relationships with colleagues, children and parents as well as becoming an active member of the Havant community. As well as managing the nursery Katie spends a lot of time working within the room to gain a deeper understanding of the children’s needs and preferences.
Katie commented “Having grown up in the Havant area, I am excited to be coming home! I am relishing the opportunity to work with the team at Tops Havant and I’m looking forward to meeting and getting to know all the parents and children.”
In 2018, Tops Havant was the first nursery in the UK to achieve a Surfers Against Sewage: Plastic Free Schools status as well as being within the top 20 most recommended day nursery chain in the South.
The nursery caters for children aged 3 months to school age from 6am-8pm, 52 weeks a year (including bank holidays.) Hi 5’s holiday club also operates for 5-8 year olds.
