Tops Day Nurseries based at All Saints Church in Lymington have recently welcomed a storyteller from Woodlander Hoburne Bashley to lead Little Woodlander sessions.
Jack O’ the Green visited the pre-school children to tell tales in the nursery’s yurt, surrounding magical woodlands and the natural world. The children joined Jack O’ the Green in these storytime adventures by bringing the stories to life through drama and music.
The children then followed Jack in a scavenger hunt, intrigued by his knowledge and teachings of the ecosystem, biodiversity and conservation.
Tops Lymington are delighted to be able to work with the Woodland Activity Centre to provide a course of 4 little Woodlander sessions on a fortnightly basis. The sessions are available for all current preschool children at Tops Lymington on a Wednesday – if your child does not usually attend on a Wednesday there is availability for you to book your child in on the 4 dates.
