Our Fawley day nursery in Southampton provides Early Education and Care for children from 3 months – preschool age and offers up to 30 funded hours for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.

The modern, purpose-built building was previously a Children’s Centre, and has been refurbished into a wonderful, sustainable day nursery & preschool where children can learn and thrive.
Our flexible booking system means that we are able to accommodate all families, whether they require care to cover a moving shift pattern, permanent booking or term time only care for teachers. Find out more about our flexible childcare in Fawley here.
Not only has Tops Fawley joined the South’s leading family of most recommended, eco-sustainable day nurseries… they will be building brand new links in the local community.
Situated in the heart of Heather Road Estate, an established residential area, parents can benefit from our opening hours of 7:30am – 6pm, 52 weeks per year. The nursery benefits from plenty of off-road parking, the community play park on our doorstep and plenty of outside spaces for the children to explore.
Being in such close proximity to the waterfront and green areas makes the location perfect for Tops Fawley to introduce Tops Forest School. This gives children the opportunity to learn about nature, through nature and have supervised access to tools, saws, and equipment to build dens, whittle wood, build campfires, bug hunting and much more!
At Tops Day Nurseries our aim is for all children to meet or exceed expected development for their age. We are a ‘SchemaPlay’ accredited setting which enables us to help narrow the gap for any children showing signs of delay and to also enhance the learning experiences for all children that attend our settings. The children at Tops benefit from our balanced no-added sugar menus that we have designed to support growth and development using the Children’s Food Trust Recommendations.  To view our healthy, nutritious recipes click here.
Tops Fawley also implements extra-curricular activities in line with the rest of the Tops Day Nurseries family. For example, Tops Cooking School, Boogie Mites, yoga, tooth brushing, Football Fun and much more!
Our Fawley day nursery is based nearby to Tops Lymington at All Saints Church, another of our childcare settings within the Tops Day Nurseries family to open in the New Forest area.
Additional Care
Tops Fawley no longer offers a Hi5’s Holiday Club but instead will be offering additional care outside the scheduled hours at the nursery’s standard hourly rate.

Whilst your child is in our care we are more than happy for you to call us as often as you like to discuss their childcare or talk to a member of staff about your child and their day at nursery. During your child’s day at nursery we will record important information to share with you, such as sleep times/nappy changes and information about milk/food intake. This information is added to a daily report which is submitted onto EYLOG.
What makes Tops different?
Flexibility
With opening hours, from 6am-8pm including bank holidays, it means we are here when you need us. Offering Education & Care with 15-minute intervals, so you only pay for the childcare you need. (Available at the majority of our nurseries but not all.)
