Tops Muscliff provides a holiday club service every holiday for school children up to the age of 11 years old.
At the Hi5’s club there are no worksheets or workbooks to meticulously go through – we provide childcare focussed on active learning where we encourage the children to explore, investigate, design and work things out for themselves.
Located just off Castle Lane West, the Hi5’s club is located within the Tops Day Nurseries Muscliff setting; during the Holiday Club, we like to encourage the children to get outdoors and provide them with regular outings to nearby woodland areas and parks, where they are able to explore and collect natural resources. The River Stour is within close proximity to the setting and offers an exciting front-seat view of a watery environment, where the children can observe and catalog the extensive range of wildlife that lives down there – they may even see the elusive Heron fishing for his dinner!
At the Hi5’s Holiday Club we offer a range of different activities, including arts and crafts, cooking, music and movement, science, woodwork, sports and team games and many more!
The plans for the Hi5’s Holiday Club are influenced by the interests of the children who enrolled in the previous holiday club. We are aware that children’s interests change on a regular basis, so our plans are designed to be flexible to ensure that the children’s needs are met during their attendance.
On enrolment at our Hi5’s Club, the children will receive a free backpack. They can also collect different badges for completing a variety of activities. Some of the badges your child can earn include; ‘I am an artist’, ‘I am a film maker’ and ‘I can sew’.Â

We run this action-packed Hi5’s Holiday Club across the summer, Easter and Christmas holidays, as well as during the half term breaks. Activities are flexible to be seasonally and weather appropriate.
Hi 5’s Muscliff Club offer the following sessions, which can also be topped up at £5.55 per hour:
- Holiday Club: £24.92 per half day, £41.53 per full day and £35.31 per day for a full week.
Half days are either 8am – 1pm or 1pm – 6pm (not including meals). Full days are 8am – 5pm, meals included. - Mandatory food charge £4.18 per day.
- Extra hours can be booked at the normal hourly rate, £6.11 per hour
No deposit or administration fee are required for Hi 5’s Club, but all fees are to be paid in advance of attendance.
Holiday club plans are emailed to all parents prior to the school break and we welcome any suggestions from parents and children about what activities or trips they would like us to provide.
