Stonehouse Nursery

Hi5’s Stonehouse provides a Hi5’s Holiday Club service at the nursery setting for school children up to the age of 11 years old.

The setting is located in Wyndham Square, making the nursery easy to find, and situated in the perfect place for parents and carers living locally, as well as those who travel into Plymouth for work with the site being in close proximity to Plymouth train station and the A374.

We are lucky that although based in a residential area, the nursery is situated close to Victoria Park with 6 hectares of greenland, including playgrounds, basketball courts, football pitches, making it perfect for the children to explore and plenty of opportunities to run off excess energy.

The plans for the Hi5’s Holiday Club are influenced by the interests of the children who regularly attend our out of school clubs and those who were enrolled for the previous holiday club. We are aware that children’s interests change on a regular basis, so our plans are flexible and designed to ensure that the children’s needs are catered for during their attendance, therefore we offer a wide range of activities, both indoors and out, including arts and crafts, sports and team games, music and movement, woodwork, cooking, science and many more!

Hi 5’s before/after school/holiday club offer the following sessions, which can also be
topped up at £5.40 per hour:

• Breakfast Club: (from 7.30am to drop off) including breakfast and drop-off at school: £9.35 per day.
• After-School Club: (3pm to 6pm, term time only) including collection: £18.40 per day.
  Taxi (if required): Before or After school: £11
• Holiday Club: £22 per half day, £36.70 per full day and £31.20 per day for a full week.
  Half days are ether 8am – 1pm or 1pm – 6pm (Meals not included). Full days are 8am – 5pm, meals included
• Mandatory food charge £3.70 per day.
• Extra hours can be booked at the normal hourly rate, £6.11 per hour.

No deposit or administration fee are required for Hi5’s Club, but all fees are to be paid in advance of attendance

Holiday club plans are emailed to all parents prior to the school break and we welcome any suggestions from parents and children about what activities or trips they would like us to provide.

We run this action-packed Hi5’s Holiday Club across the summer, Easter and Christmas holidays, as well as during the half term breaks. Activities are flexible to be seasonally, but we do go outdoors in all weathers so please send in suitable clothing.
