Secretary of State launches NHS Volunteer Responders Scheme

The Secretary of State used the briefing today to launch a new scheme, NHS Volunteer Responders, to support the NHS and local services in getting the support they need to provide care during the Coronavirus outbreak.

The scheme is seeking 250,000 volunteers to help the NHS with shopping and delivery of medicines, and to support those who are currently shielded to protect their health.

If you are interested in becoming an NHS Volunteer Responder, you can apply here.
