The children at Tops Newport have recently showed an interest in putting on performances, whether it be dancing, singing, acting or showing off their yoga skills.
Recently the Staff have created a fantastic stage for the children in the garden complete with a curtain, microphone and costumes and a bench for the audience.
As well as performing being thoroughly enjoyable, it has also been shown to have a significant impact on the process of improving literacy levels in children as well as ultimately giving children the skills to express themselves, leading to increased confidence and self-esteem.
The children have loved being able to perform in front of their friends and have enjoyed their time on the stage!
