Staff and children are celebrating Sports Relief across the Tops Day Nurseries family today by wearing red, sports clothing and bringing a piece of sport equipment to show and share with other children.
The children shared and talked about our healthy snacks at morning and afternoon snack time and the nurseries each held a different sporting event…seeing as the focus for the day is to get active and have lots of fun!
At Tops Wimborne, a fun and healthy day for all the children was planned. The children took part in a dance-a-thon and joined in with some Sports Relief songs as well as having the chance to ‘Shimmy with Timmy’.
Tops Mini Mariners also held a dance-a-thon and Tops Portsmouth held their very own relay race around the hospital grounds, it was great fun!
All the children will be presented with a certificate for being part of Sports Relief and we would like to thank everyone who took part.
