Over the past few months, Tops Day Nurseries in Corfe Mullen have been collecting food to donate to the local foodbank. Staff, parents and children have been collecting a range of food products before heading down to St Nicholas’ Church to drop off the items.

The foodbank based at St Nicholas Church is run by volunteers and supports a number of families in Corfe Mullen. The food bank accepts a variety of different foods, and Tops Corfe Mullen have been encouraging locals to donate.
The children took a trip to the historic location and dropped off bags of non-perishable food items, including pasta, cereal, tinned foods and soups. As part of the British Values taught at Tops Day Nurseries, children learn that not everyone is lucky enough to get lots of presents or eat lots of food, especially around Christmas time, so they are aware of the importance of donating. It is extremely important to teach the next generation about the world around them and how they can make a difference by showing kindness and compassion.
The imperative organization is one of which Tops Day Nurseries are very proud to support. If you would like to make a donation, please drop your items to St Nicholas Church, 30 Wareham Rd, Corfe Mullen, Wimborne BH21 3LE on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday morning.
