Tops & Aspire Celebrate with a ‘Under the Sea’ Themed Awards Night

Tops Day Nurseries and Aspire Training Team recently hosted their annual Awards Night with an enchanting ‘Under the Sea’ theme. The event was a celebration of the exceptional work and dedication of staff across the Tops and Aspire family, recognising their contributions to delivering high-quality Early Years Education and Training.

Laughter, music, and celebration filled the night at the Lighthouse in Poole. The venue transformed into a magical under-the-sea wonderland, complete with ocean-themed décor, creating a lively and immersive atmosphere for everyone.

The Tops catering team expertly provided a delicious three-course meal for the evening, including a vegetarian option. This thoughtful touch reflects the companies’ ongoing commitment to sustainability and providing nutritious meals across all nurseries.

The evening began with a stunning performance by Tanya, an opera singer who works for Tops Day Nurseries, creating an elegant and memorable entrance for guests. Following this, the awards ceremony took centre stage, honouring the remarkable achievements of nurseries, colleagues and partners across Tops Day Nurseries and Aspire Training Team. Awards celebrated achievements across various categories, recognizing individuals from apprentices to the Senior Leadership Team for their outstanding dedication and exceptional contributions throughout the year.

The Aspire Training Team also celebrated key achievements, acknowledging both learners and team members who have excelled in delivering training, developing skills, and supporting growth in the early years sector.

Not solely focussing on the awards, Tops and Aspire ran two raffles during the evening – one to celebrate the Long Service Club partners (those who have worked for more than 5 years for the companies) and an all-staff raffle. Furthermore, our suppliers generously donated prizes that added something extra-special to the evening, with one partner even winning a £250 Virgin Experience Days voucher!

What Happened after the Awards Night finished?

After the awards, the festivities continued with a DJ, dancing and a photo booth, allowing everyone to celebrate and capture the night’s successes in style.

Each awards night is a testament to the dedication of the Tops and Aspire teams, as a committee of volunteers support the organisation of the awards alongside their daily roles, to make the evening exceptional for all attendees.
