Tops Boscombe’s Firestation trip

The children at Tops Boscombe have recently shown an interest in emergency service vehicles, with a particular focus on fire engines.

Stemmed from the Children’s fascination, a trip was organised for preschool to visit the local fire station. Their faces lit up when they saw the fire engines parked at the station, and when they met the friendly firefighters stationed there.

The children were so excited and intrigued to learn what happens during a fire drill, listened carefully to the firefighters as they talked.

When it come to exploring the fire engines, the preschoolers were thrilled to learn how to operate the buttons and sound the siren… it was very noisy!

Both the staff and children had a wonderful time and enjoyed spending time building relationships with the local community.
