Tops celebrates World Kindness Day

First launched in 1998 by The World Kindness Movement, World Kindness Day is celebrated annually on November 13th. On this day in particular, participants are encouraged to make small acts of kindness and make the world a happier place! Whether you are one person, a small business, or huge organisation, you can celebrate and pledge to an act of kindness. Currently in the UK, Schools, Charities and institutions are all celebrating this day.

At Tops Day Nurseries both children and staff have been taking part in World Kindness Day across our nursery settings. We’ve been writing notes of thank you to our hard working staff and the children have enjoyed writing letters to other Tops Nurseries in the South. They can’t wait to hear back!

Acts of kindness don’t have to be grand gestures, something as little as asking how someone’s day went, offering a smile, writing a letter to someone you care about, or getting in touch with an old friend! So no matter how big or small, join in!
