Tops Exeter has celebrated its second birthday in style with the opening of its brand-new Splash Zone, bringing children, families and the nursery team together for a day filled with fun, laughter and plenty of water!
The special celebration marked two years of Tops Exeter being part of the local community, while also celebrating the exciting addition of its new Splash Zone, a fantastic outdoor space designed to encourage children to explore, discover and learn through water play.
The new Splash Zone has been created with children at the heart of its design, incorporating flowing water, natural rocks and sensory elements to provide an exciting environment for children to investigate and enjoy. The space offers endless opportunities for children to get hands-on, experiment with water and develop their confidence while enjoying outdoor play.
A particularly special moment during the celebrations was the official opening and countdown to the very first splash. The Tops Exeter team were delighted to welcome Rick, Bruce and Chris, who worked incredibly hard to bring the new Splash Zone to life.
Kayleigh, Regional Manager for Tops Exeter, said:
“It was lovely to welcome Rick, Bruce and Chris, who worked so hard to build our fantastic Splash Zone, to join us for the opening and countdown to that very first splash. It was a special moment for everyone involved, and we’re so excited to see the Splash Zone now open and being enjoyed.”
The birthday celebrations were a wonderful opportunity for everyone to come together and reflect on the past two years at Tops Exeter, while looking forward to everything still to come.
Children wasted no time getting involved in the celebrations, enjoying the water, exploring the new Splash Zone and having lots of fun with their friends. It was lovely to see the space already being enjoyed and filled with happy faces.
The team are excited to see the Splash Zone become a much-loved part of everyday life at Tops Exeter, providing children with even more opportunities for outdoor learning, sensory exploration and imaginative play.
After two fantastic years, Tops Exeter has certainly found a brilliant way to celebrate by making a splash!
