At Tops Day Nurseries we understand that it can sometimes be difficult to plan exciting, fun activities every day for your little ones throughout Summer, Easter, Christmas Holidays, as well as during half terms! It can be a lot to keep up with, especially if you’re busy working, which is why at Tops we offer Hi 5’s holiday club from school ages up to aged 11. This is subject to each nursery.
Most recently, many of our Hi 5 children enjoyed a morning of pumpkin picking at Sopley farm! In the run up to Halloween we thought it would be a great opportunity for them to go and hand select their own pumpkins for use in the nursery. The children were so excited and soon filled up the trolleys. Once we have used our pumpkins we will be composting these to ensure they are not wasted.
Plans for Hi 5’s holiday club are based on the interests of the children attending our out of school care and those who attended the previous holiday. We are aware that children’s interests change on a regular basis so our plans are flexible to ensure that they can be changed to meet the needs of the children attending on that day.
During these clubs we put on a range of different activities, some of these include, Music and movement, science, woodwork, sports and team games, cooking, arts and crafts and many more! We want to make sure that all children feel as settled as possible during their time here so we ensure we always have a flexible routine in place.
Holiday club plans are emailed to all parents prior to the School break and bookings can be made on a half day or full day basis.
