Dinosaur adventures at Tops Parkstone’s first Bloom Toddler Class
There was plenty of roaring, dancing and exploring at Tops Parkstone as our children took part in their very first Bloom Toddler Class!
Led by Kelly from Bloom Toddler Classes Dorset, the first session had a dinosaur theme and was packed with music, movement and sensory fun. Young explorers created dinosaur footprints, melted mysterious dinosaur eggs and dug for dinosaur bones, and experienced exciting tuff tray activities. Combining plenty of fun with opportunities to move, investigate, communicate and use their imaginations.
The fun was also supporting children’s learning and development, with activities linking to several areas of the EYFS, including Physical Development, Communication and Language, Understanding the World, Expressive Arts and Design, and Personal, Social and Emotional Development.
Kelly, who runs the Bloom Toddler Classes at Tops Parkstone, said:
“I had such a fantastic time today, thank you so much for having me! I’m very much looking forward to returning for my Halloween special sessions!”
This is only the beginning! Bloom Toddler Classes are exclusive to Tops Parkstone and will take place on the last Wednesday of every month, with sessions incorporating music and movement, sensory play, physical play and imaginative activities. Bloom Toddler Classes poster
After such a fantastic first session, we’re already looking forward to next month’s theme – all things Halloween! 🎃
Adam Bodek, Nursery Manager at Tops Parkstone, said:
“The children absolutely loved their first Bloom session. There was so much excitement as they explored the dinosaur activities, danced, moved and discovered new things together. It was wonderful to see how engaged they were, and we’re really excited to make these sessions a regular part of nursery life at Parkstone.”
