Tops staff shortlisted for national award

We are delighted to announce Mags Pritchett from Tops Lymington and Leia Gale from Tops Charminster have been selected as finalists for this years’ NDNA Practitioner of the Year award.

The National Day Nurseries Association launched their prestigious awards for 2018 earlier this year, which are the only early years awards voted for by parents.

Meet our finalists!

Leia Gale, Deputy Manager at Tops Charminster

Leia joined Tops as a parent volunteer and enjoyed helping at Tops Charminster so much that she joined us as a permanent member of staff and completed her NVQ Level 3 qualification in May 2014. Leia then went on to be promoted to a room manager and is now the deputy manager and Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCo). Within her current role as SENCo she is dedicated to providing support to the children and families within the setting for their development.

Mags Pritchett, Deputy Manager at Tops Lymington

Mags joined the Tops Lymington Team in 2016 as a casual member of staff. After a short while, Mags was promoted to room manager and then deputy manager. The team believe Mags deserves this award because she always goes above and beyond the call of duty in her role. In October 2017 Mags was presented with the ABCD award for Tops Lymington at our annual awards evening!
