Tops Day Nurseries Stonehouse, located on Wolsdon St, celebrated Earth Day on April 22nd, 2023, with a fun and educational activity for children. The activity involved discussions on the important things we can do to help save the world and creating their own artwork of the Earth using green and blue paint.
The activity was designed to help children understand the importance of caring for the environment and how they can make a difference in the world. The discussions focused on the different ways we can reduce waste, conserve energy, and protect the planet’s resources. The children were encouraged to share their own ideas and opinions on how they can contribute to saving the planet.
After the discussions, the children were given an opportunity to create their own artwork of the Earth using green and blue paint with their hands. This activity allowed the children to express their creativity and reinforce the importance of environmental conservation.
Derry Roberts, Nursery Manager at Tops Stonehouse said, “At Tops Stonehouse, we believe that it is our responsibility to teach children about the importance of caring for the environment. Earth Day provides a great opportunity to engage children in fun and educational activities that promote environmental conservation. We are delighted with the enthusiasm and creativity that the children showed during the activity. It was great to see them express their love for the planet and learn new ways to protect it.”
Tops Stonehouse is dedicated to providing quality childcare services that focus on the development and education of children. The Earth Day activity is just one of the many ways that Tops Stonehouse is committed to creating a better future for our children.
