Wellbeing Activities to Support Home Learning

As the lockdown continues, we want to continue supporting parents with their home learning journeys as much as possible. Looking after our wellbeing is now more important to look after than it has ever been so we’ve put together a list of some resources that can help you with your child’s wellbeing while at home.

The TTS group has created an Early Years Wellbeing Booklet packed with various activities, songs and learning tools for you to go through at home. From moving and active challenges, learning about emotions to trying new calming exercises, there is plenty of content for you to try at home.

Twinkl offer a wide variety of resources to help support building esteem, understand gratitude, mindfulness and how to support each other. Take a look at the website for inspiration!

For some Physical Development ideas to improve physical wellbeing, Change 4 Life was launched by the NHS to help support families with food and exercise tips. Active For Life also offers a list of 49 fun and unique activities to do with children aged 2-4, while Cosmic Kids has some fantastic Yoga movements!
