Tops Day Nurseries would like to announce what has been a challenging change for our Tops Cattedown setting.
Tops Cattedown, situated on Brunswick Road, Plymouth, will officially be closing down and moving locations to join our Tops Bretonside nursery on December 20th 2019. Located less than a mile apart, Cattedown will become part of Bretonside at their beautiful grade II listed terrace row, which features interior dating back to the 1800’s. Tops Bretonside is located in the heart of Plymouth and is an ideal location for parents and carers working in the centre of Plymouth.
Tops Bretonside is situated within a thriving arts community, in close proximity to the Theatre Royal and the Mayflower House of Arts. Children’s natural curiosity is well catered for with access to numerous sites of historical interest such as the Mayflower Steps Memorial, as well as museums and ancient buildings.
The nearby north quay hosts a stunning aquarium which offers many watery educational activities, as well as -of course- the vast number of boats to watch and ducks to feed!
Although located in the city centre of Plymouth, our Bretonside nursery is not far from the Elizabethan Gardens, with its glorious water fountain, and Hoe Park with its large, green spaces and lighthouse.
New, and existing parents of Tops Cattedown can expect the same homely feel at Tops Bretonside, allowing easy transition for children to move between baby, toddler, and pre-school rooms, with unlimited access to exciting resources. As always, children will have the opportunity to explore nature through the lovely garden and mud kitchen, investigating in all weathers. The recently re-vamped rooms in the nursery are constantly changing based on the children’s interests.
