Outdoor classroom day celebrates the importance of children spending time outdoors. There are many benefits of children spending and learning outdoors, such as, it helps improves their social skills, it enhances problem solving, creates more opportunities for team work activities, encourages children’s creativity. Outdoor play is a great way to encourage children to take risks, taking risks encourages children to become more confident and become more spatially aware of the space and world around them, click here to see more about why taking risks is good.

Across tops the children and staff have taken part in a number of different activities such as, water play, sand play, obstacle courses, children also ate their meals outside and even took naps outside!
